A former cow shed in the farmyard has been transformed into a tasting room and gallery, accompanied by an adjoining workshop space for resident artists or classes focused on art and/or wine.
The vineyard has established a fruitful partnership with the Canterbury Society of Art, currently showcasing an exhibition and sale of members’ work in the gallery. Recently, the vineyard hosted the Society's 50th Anniversary celebration with a lunch held in the impressive Kent Barn, originally a historic threshing barn. Plans are underway to utilize this space for future art exhibitions and various cultural and social events. The Kent Barn stands among several charming 18th-century farmyard buildings, including a distinctive dovecote prominently featured in Chartham Vineyard's logo.
The farmyard, cellar door, and gallery welcome visitors every Saturday from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Guests are encouraged to book tours through the website, indulge in complimentary wine tastings, and explore the gallery free of charge. Ample parking is available onsite.
